This project was created by exotics enthusiasts and business associates Simon and Kevin. The Flauna is just a name created by combining the terms "flora" and "fauna" to represent the wide-reaching flexibility of our one stop shop for all things interesting when it comes to plants and inverts.

​Simon is a passionate exotics breeder and keeper who has been in the hobby for over 15 years, with extensive breeding experience that spans multiple species. As such, ALL Solaxisflauna stock are produced in home unless explicitly stated to be not produced at Solaxis Flauna. Simon has a scientific background that gives extensive knowledge of husbandry as well as scientific know-how, which was crucial in the formulation in much of Solaxis Flauna's supply side to create the most effective supplies and food formulas for all our animals and plants. He has a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Physiology from UCSD, as well as a Masters Degree in Biochemistry from UCSD, and also has 2 years of PhD research experience, though he decided not to complete that degree.

Kevin is fairly new to the hobby but has extensive experience on the business side of all things, willing to learn all the husbandry requirements and techniques, and absolutely mastering logistics, marketing, and business. He is an expert in managing clients and sales, and is an integral part in keeping the business running smoothly, and is ready to help customers find what they need. He graduated UCSD with a bachelors in international business.
